Thanks, ASBO International for giving us all the opportunity to meet and get back to normal.
We like to take this opportunity and summarize our ASBO International Annual Conference &
Expo show floor appearance.
SAS Smart Air Systems presented at the expo two systems to help schools address Energy Management (EMS), through Energy Monitoring & Targeting in Conjunction with Air Monitoring in Classrooms, to save Energy while assuring good levels of Air Quality.
Providing Fresh air to classrooms was and is always a main target of any system installed in schools, however the new worlds energy crisis requires everyone to save substantially on energy cost which means in practice not only supplying fresh air to classroom, but also controlling the level of fresh air supplied to the actual needed level and not exceed supply of fresh air which means in practice over spending on energy, 'hile controlling the fresh air delivered to classrooms, whether through BMS/HVAC system or opening windows, we must assure we keep the good air quality in classrooms and for that we exhibited two suggested systems
Our SpaceSmart NBDair’s welSPACE System, that we intend for larger districts that have a BMS system is a product that provides a complete solution that monitors, detects, and solves the indoor air health problems, rather than only monitor to detect the problems.
The systems allows working as a distributed monitoring and control system the directly integrate and control RTU units for balanced health and energy savings, or in conjunction with exiting BMS systems, allowing facilities to tune in their BMS systems to save energy based on real data coming from classrooms. This date, that includes real information that included actual classroom occupancy, is different from the way BMS systems were designed for, for many years.
In the situation were BMS cannot be easily tuned to support demand-control for balanced health and energy for occupied classrooms, using the welSPACE as a stand-alone distribute system with integrated and controlled RTUs has already become a supplement or extension of the existing BMS capabilities.
The second system presented is our Class Smart system, that is working in a similar way the most school air quality system work – measuring CO2, temperature and a few more inputs and providing these to facilities that can manually analyze and improve performance. Small districts show good energy saving results by doing so as we present on our website. For larger districts, more automation may be needed as facilities may not have the manpower needed for an in- depth review or data coming from each classroom to optimize functions of their system.
SAS Smart Air Systems provide supervision of Energy Management Systems (EMS) through Energy Monitoring & Targeting in Conjunction with Air Quality Monitoring in Classrooms Air, through top level consultants,
SAS Smart Air Systems can provide supervision of Energy Management Systems (EMS) using Energy Monitoring & Targeting in Conjunction with Air Quality Monitoring in Classrooms, performed by top level Energy saving consultants that work also with companies like Carries, Eaton, ERM and H E Consulting, work includes:
- Energy Audit
- Operating data base
- Implementation with local teams
- Air quality’
- Energy Saving
- Smart Air Purifiers
- We also presented the expo:
- In classroom air quality signage, that can direct student to open and close windows, if this is actually possible in their classroom, to open the windows if air quality gets out of range, and close the window right when air quality is OK, saving energy and assuring good air quality the same time.
- Ceiling Air purifiers and sanitizers – priced at less than $390 for quantities of more than 100 units – iOT controlled to allow energy saving – turned on only when school is on -saving close to $200 on energy vs conventional air purifiers
- Floor standing Air purifiers and sanitizers – priced at less than $170 for quantities of more than 100 units – iOT controlled to allow energy saving – turned on only when school is on -saving close to $200 on energy vs conventional air purifiers. Our purifiers have the unique feature that they can be automatically turned off and operate only when school is in session and be turned of at all other times.
- Schools Bus Sanitizers and Purifiers at $350 for quantities of 150 units and more
welSPACE allows to create, operate, monitor, experience, and manage safe and healthy indoor spaces.
welSPACE also allows to use its monitoring and analytics functionality only, with options to add in ventilation, filtration, disinfection equipment for user spaces (classrooms, rest rooms, locker rooms) with constantly identified problems. With this equipment integrated seamlessly,
welSPACE automatically solve identified problems with AI-driven control algorithms, rather than manual respond to correct problems.
welSPACE use three indoor air health parameters - AQI (air quality index) per FDA standards, ACH (air change rate per hour), IRI (infection risk index), together, to measure indoor air health condition, and make the results visible and actionable, rather than use a single AQI, or CO2, or PM2.5 parameter.
welSPACE is a lightweight and distributed solution with focus on user occupied spaces rather than the centralized HVAC/BMS solution for entire building. It is easy to deploy with low project cost, and saves energy.
welSPACE makes data accessible as “simple” matters, display results & metrics “in your spaces, in your face” with innovated user experience for awareness and guided healthy behavior.
welSPACE drives engagement through automated mobile messages and emails.
NBDair's welSPACE is recognized as a RESET Accredited Data Provider for healthy and sustainable built environment. It is also ranked top 10 worldwide by Gardner in their report: The 60 Smartest Companies Thriving Post Pandemic.
