The major difference of NBDair’s welSPACE product is that it provides a complete solution that monitors, detects and solves indoor air health problems, rather than most current products used by schools that only monitor air quality such as CO2 or temperature to detect and report problems.
NBDair's welSPACE is a healthy space as service (HSPaaS) platform that provides schools with solutions, products, and tools to create, operate, monitor, experience, manage, and connect safe and healthy school indoor spaces. welSPACE innovates your indoor air experience while improving your students, teachers and staff peace of mind.
welSPACE has three core technologies components:
• Indoor Air Technology - leverages the advanced ventilation, filtration, disinfection technologies.
• Smart - use AIoT to integrate ventilation, filtration, disinfection equipment seamlessly, with AI to drive self-learning, self-adapt, and self-optimization; use DX for advanced digital experience technology to drive indoor air health experience.
• Use three indoor air health parameters - AQI (air quality index) per FDA index, ACH (air change rate per hour), IRI (infection risk index), together, to measure indoor air health condition, and make the results visible and actionable.
Other advantages: A lightweight and distributed solution with focus on user spaces rather than the centralized HVAC/BMS solution for entire building.
* Easy to deploy and low project cost
* Save energy
A system that automatically looks for issues or patterns in the data, and solve problems with AI-driven control algorithms
Allow customers to use its monitoring and analytics functionality only as well as options to add ventilation, filtration, disinfection equipment for user spaces with constantly identified problems
Across parameter (indoor and outdoor) examination to provide action suggestions
Make data accessible – “simple” matters
Display results & metrics “in your spaces, in your face” with innovated user experience for awareness and guided healthy behavior
Drive engagement through automated mobile messages and emails
NBDair's welSPACE is recognized as a RESET Accredited Data Provider for healthy and sustainable built environment. It is also ranked top 10 worldwide by Gardner in their report: The 60 Smartest Companies Thriving Post Pandemic.
2.Detailed information about your sensors. way of communication (wifi/zigbee/etc , accuracy of co2 sensor, accuracy of voc /smoke detectors:
Out of box, Wi-Fi is built in. ZigBee is optional. CO2: range 0~5000ppm, resolution 1ppm, accuracy 3%; VOC: range 0~5.00 mg/m³, resolution 0.01 mg/m³, accuracy 10%; Smoke: range 10g/m³ resolution 1 g/m³, accuracy 5% (good for vape detection);
3.architecture of data stream - how is data moving from the sensors to the system? how will data stream from the various sensors in the various classes, in the various schools, in the various school district to the center.
Here is the system diagram for the data flow.
The room/space is configured as school district/school/room, and you add monitor equipment (AirBox) or other equipment into a room. The monitor equipment collects real-time data and send to the clouds IoT server through Wi-Fi/MQTT. The IoT server received data will be stored into application server data store for applications to use. Based on the school district/school/room/device configuration, the application server can identify what classroom and school are the data from.
4.Can parents review the data of AQ in the children's classroom?
Yes, parents can download and install APP from App Store and use it for monitoring AQ of classrooms.
5.Are you analyzing data and the facility director end to indicate which problems they have to look for, or malfunctions in different classes.
We present dashboard to list and rank user spaces (classroom, locker room, restroom) with AQ health issues; and provide summary of unhealthy air pollutants, and AQI distribution.
We present trend analysis (24 hours, 7 days, 30 days) for each user space with issues to identify patten and root cause.
We generate real-time warning messages for identified issues and send to facility support team members through mobile messages and emails.
