How does the STERIONIZER™ work?​

  • The STERIONIZER™ is an air purification device based on a patented bipolar ionization technology, specifically developed to bring the health and quality of nature’s air to indoor environments.
  • In natural habitats, solar and earth-based thermal energies create positive and negative oxygen ions that clean and renew outdoor air by removing harmful pollutants, such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores.
  • The STERIONIZER™ generates these same positive and negative ions – just like those found in nature – that purify and freshen indoor air by eliminating the harmful pollutants mentioned above.
  • The STERIONIZER™ “D” product family is a line of compact electronic modules that can be easily integrated in various air treatment products, such as air conditioners, air purifiers, humidifiers and de-humidifiers, blowers, ventilators, and more.

    The system ensures reliable and consistent conditions, helps to reduce the spread of pathogens.
    The basic principal is the permanent flushing of the area with clean air reinforced with positive and negative ions.
    These charged oxygen molecules O₂+ and O₂- have high chemical activity and when reacting with water molecules in the air, H₂O₂ (Hydrogen Peroxide) is formed. A chemical reaction occurs and oxidants break down the protein structure of pollutants, rendering them harmless.
    STERIONIZER™ system keeps air ducts, air heat exchangers and air handling units clean and supplies ionized air in enclosed areas.
    Each ionizing device is completely maintenance free and can be connected to a data-bus for supervision and monitoring.

Integrate STERIONIZER™ Window into Your A/C System!STERIONIZER™ Window can be integrated into a variety of air conditioning systems in a wide range of applications; home, office, automotive, rail cars and aviation systems.
Due to it’s slim design the STERIONIZER™ Window can be easily integrated in a louver or any air supply grill. With the integrated wiper it is also simple to clean the emitter for steady ion output.
The STERIONIZER™ Window offers an optional Over-Voltage Protection (OVP) feature enabling smooth operation of the unit in unstable voltage conditions that are commonplace in cars and trucks. With STERIONIZER™ Window, there’s no need for external protection mechanisms.

The STERIONIZER™ Duct Unit is designed for adding ionizing technology into air ducts and other closed areas with an air flow.
The unit is maintenance free with innovative patented self-cleaning ­emitters. In addition, the unit includes a Modbus communication port that can easily be connected to any building management system.
It is easy to install the unit in any duct utilizing the pre-drilled flange and factory applied gasket.
When installed at appropriate points, the unit keeps the duct system clean and ensures that the air supplied is ionized.
